Jason came to the law later in life. A Coffs Harbour local, he started out with his own business making and installing sandstone building products. But after losing his arm in a tractor accident he needed to shift to something with a little more brain and a little less brawn. The law beckoned and in his mid-30s Jason began studying law part-time and took a job as a law clerk.
He joined Bryant McKinnon the day the firm opened its doors, initially helping clients to coordinate property settlements, wills and estates.
Qualifying as a lawyer in 2023, Jason now works actively with clients on all aspects of their family law matters. A self-professed “people-person”, Jason enjoys helping clients through difficult times, both legally and emotionally.
When not at work, Jason is most happy with a fishing rod in his hand.
